IGNITE does not claim to be the exclusive ministry of any one church or Christian faith tradition.  Rather, we represent a growing collaboration of churches and denominations across the Southwest and nation, working together toward a shared mission – to light the way to Reservation transformation.

As a training center for Native American Christian pastors and leaders on the Reservations, IGNITE is willing, able, and eager to associate with any church which (1) preaches the gift of salvation thru the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and (2) accepts the Holy Bible (as-written and undivided) as the authoritative guide in Christian faith and practice.  Furthermore, IGNITE respects each church's and each person's differences

in doctrine, style, and personality as they follow the Lord Jesus, and considers these differences as edifying expressions of and service to one body (Romans 12:3-8, 1Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4).

Strict denominationalism has historically polarized Reservation churches and ministries, and thus blocked mass efforts by any one church or faith tradition to create sustainable change.  IGNITE sees this polemical division between Christians in clear conflict with Holy Scripture (John 17, Romans 14, Ephesians 4:11-16, etc.).  By focusing on the unity of our Christian faith and openly discussing all doctrinal issues with patience, compassion, and humility, IGNITE is committed to practicing the liberty of “brotherly love” without accepting the false philosophy of religious relativism.
